Hey! 👋🏼 I'm Carina, a vibrant and detail-oriented creative currently working as a Junior Digital Designer for Joma Jewellery & Katie Loxton. I'm a First Class 2022 graduate of BA (Hons) Fashion Branding & Communication from Birmingham City University, where I thoroughly pushed my creativity and passion for design, content creation and marketing. By working on a diverse range of projects from founding Circulāris magazine, to working as a writer & designer at Ohana magazine and my role as a Content Assistant at BCU, I've been able to build a versatile skill set.
I'm proficient designing for both digital & print media and writing compelling content and copy, connecting with the consumer through crafting engaging marketing content to extend reach and meet or beat defined targets. My ability to undertake part-time work in industry whilst studying demonstrates my strong work ethic and ability to work to tight deadlines.
I work with brands to successfully curate scroll-stopping marketing communications with a clear identity that delivers results. ✨

I'm able to grasp new concepts or ideas quickly and I enjoy a challenge to expand my skillset and my knowledge. During my UAL Art & Design Level 3 I fell in love with film photography. I continued to experiment with film alongside my degree to capture and communicate a story, as the results can be unexpected but super unique.
Often, I find myself inspired by my personal interests in my work, such as by reading books, magazines and zines, social media, visiting exhibitions and travelling. I'm particularly passionate about living ethically, slow fashion and championing circularity – in 2022 Circulāris was born. ♻️
When I'm not working, you'll find me on the mat practicing yoga, thrifting clothing online or in a charity shop, cooking, working on self-development, exploring new places or spending time with my partner and his adorable puppy.
